From Samobor with love
I spent my childhood in my family home in the old part of Samobor, where we used to make cracklings quite often.
Even today, that sweet aroma of warm cracklings reminds me of my happy childhood memories. It has also inspired me to launch my own manufacturing business.
Before us, you couldn’t find any cracklings in stores, and especially not cracklings that meet our strict standards of quality and flavor. Nowadays, using only the highest-quality pork raw materials, locally-grown onions, salt harvested on the Croatian island of Pag, and milk from the pastures of the Međimurje region, our modern facility (Fortuna Food) in Samobor manufactures tons of Dr.PIGLEY cracklings and lard for both Croatia and various international markets.
Prepared by hand to a traditional Croatian recipe, Dr.PIGLEY cracklings are always of the same top quality and flavor!
